BrainXell provides custom service to fit your research goals. Our scientific expertise, flexible production paradigms, and individual attention to customer projects allow us to tailor a project plan that meets necessary timelines and deliverables. 

Our custom service will take in your patient-derived iPSCs grow and derive them to the desired neuron type and quantity, at which point they are cryopreserved and ship to your lab for experimentation.

Any of the neuron types listed under Products can be produced from customer-supplied induced pluripotent cells (iPSCs) or embryonic stem cells (ESCs). The iPSCs can be derived from either healthy individuals or patients with genetically-linked or sporadic CNS diseases.

Our service projects are based on the same technology that is the core of our company, the ability to create specific and highly pure neurons for use in drug screening, toxicology or whatever your needs may be.


Your Project, Your Scale

Perhaps you need multiple lines produced in small batches or a billion neurons of one cell line. We know that aims and goals can vary, thus we offer dedicated service to customize cell line number and batch quantities to meet your experiment’s demand.  We can also store your specific cell lines in order to quickly produce extra or recurring batches as needed.

Upon receipt of your iPS cells, we can typically deliver up to half a billion differentiated neurons in three months.

A range of end-point fluorescence microscopy and plate reader based assays can be incorporated in custom projects to examine neuron viability, toxicity, marker expression and more.
